The process of a TV installation technician’s work:
Assessment of the installation area – The technician inspects the room and selects the optimal spot for mounting the TV. Factors such as viewing height, lighting, distance from viewers, and access to power outlets and cable ports are considered.
Selection of mounting hardware – Based on the type of wall (concrete, drywall, brick), the technician chooses the appropriate mounting hardware, such as anchors, plugs, or bolts, to ensure a safe and secure installation of the TV on the wall.
Marking the surface – Using a level and measuring tape, the technician marks the spots on the wall for mounting the bracket. The position of the TV in relation to furniture and other room elements is taken into account to ensure the screen is placed at a comfortable viewing height.
Drilling holes – The technician drills holes in the marked spots using the appropriate tools depending on the wall material. It’s essential to follow the markings precisely to ensure the bracket is installed perfectly level.
Installing the bracket – After drilling, the technician secures the bracket to the wall, carefully checking the sturdiness of the mount. If needed, a level is used again to confirm the bracket is properly aligned.
Cable management and preparation – The technician prepares and connects the necessary cables, including power, antenna, HDMI, and other connections for external devices. If needed, cable channels are used to neatly organize the wires.
Mounting the TV – The technician carefully lifts the TV and attaches it to the installed bracket. This step requires caution to avoid damage to both the TV and the mounting system.
Connecting and configuring – Once the TV is mounted, the technician connects it to the power supply and any necessary devices, such as cable boxes, receivers, or gaming consoles. Basic image settings are configured, and the quality of the signal and sound is checked.
Final check and handover – The technician ensures that the TV is securely mounted, checks its stability, and verifies that all connections and devices are working correctly. Recommendations for further usage are provided, and the installation is completed.
